    latest 2.1 install, disable tooltips when flying in VR

    Hello friends, you probably know this already, but I had not seen a post on your forums about it. In case you fly the latest 2.1 version of DCS, your game will freeze and CTD 3-4 seconds after you load the cockpit if you use VR and have tooltips enabled.

    I wasted 2 hours on Saturday testing and disabling all my mods , repairing etc etc until I saw the forum post about the tooltips, just in case you have the problem also

    I don't have a Rift but I've witnessed some frustrations on TS already. If this is indeed the fix I think you've made a couple of people happy!

    I believe our mission has it on by default and I think that's why I am crashing every time I get into the pit today.

    It's on with our mission, noticed last night when trying to solve my issues, but I didn't experience any crashing with VR. Weird.

    Yeah it only happens with DS off and only on the new Mirages. I was doing some testing this afternoon.

    I'm not sure to be honest. I flew Monday and didn't have any issues but yesterday I would crash a few minutes into start up. Same thing with Panther.

    this was fixed with the DCS 2.1.1.8491 Update 2 so it should not be an issue anymore. Before that patch, it was a guaranteed CTD for VR users
