Thread: Night in 2.1.1 Deferred Shading Enabled

Night in 2.1.1 Deferred Shading Enabled

Can someone else confirm that NVG, airfield stadium lighting, and the emergency flood light doesn't work with Deferred Shading on? In this screen shot I'm looking down but slightly right over the shoulder. I should see the stadium lights, the emergency lights should also light up the consoles. Oh and NVG doesn't even show anything. For my test, I disabled deferred shading and everything works. So I'm curious if it's just me, or is there an issue.

PS. Just installed a 1080ti so I'm looking to ensure system is code 1 prior to scheduling flights.

Panther, working fine on my end.
Can you maybe delete the folders "fxo" and "metashaders" from your saved games folder? They will be rebuild when you start the sim.
    See if that helps.

For your reference, these are my settings (GTX 1070)

Deleted those folder, also let the entire savedgames directory rebuild, no affect. Mirrored your settings, and no joy. Still pitch black, no night textures.

Welp in order to see at night time, I have to crank the gamma up to 2.8. The downside to that setting, looks like bs during the day, washed out colors...

Run a repair of DCS, see if that does anything.

Sorry thought I wrote that I repaired, even deleted Nevada and everything under the mod folder.
