So what are you guys using to calculate LASTE wind in NTTR? A spreadsheet maybe? I couldn't find a straight answer on the ED forums and figured I would much rather ask who I consider to be the SME's for the Hog and NTTR.
Cheers!

We don’t. For the purposes of DCS it’s entirely unnecessary providing you’re flying proper delivery parameters. The IFFCC calculates for wind without that data.
The obsession over it on the ED boards stems from poor weapon delivery basics and is essentially snake oil/solving a problem that doesn’t exist.
Good to know, glad I asked here! Coming from BMS has required that I break some bad habits, to include neglecting to consider wind when planning delivery vectors.
Just to further clarify...I don't need to touch the CDU LASTE Wind page AT ALL or do I need to go in and change the wind measurement/reference from BOTH to NONE to allow the IFFCC to compute for wind on the fly? I'm assuming that when set to BOTH with no data entered, the IFFCC is smart enough to know better, but I didn't see an answer to that question in the manual.

Nope, you don’t need to change anything in the CDU at all.
