    Question Forum Signatures

So I am trying to update my Forum signature but I'm having trouble combining two pictures into one and making the background transparent so that it appears just as my old signature below. I'm currently using Paint.net. Is there anyone that has a spare five minutes that can walk me through it? You know the old adage of teaching someone to fish!

    Thanks!

Have you disabled the layer "background" in the lower right corner? I just installed paint.net to see what could be the issue, and by default that is the first thing I noticed. The background layer is on (white), uncheck the background and try.

I didn't try disabling, but I did delete it to no avail. I will try that. Thank you!

    Cool

    Hello Recon,

    I use Photoshop since 1998.
And when I create a logo or nose art, I make it a PNG with no background at all.
Just one layer which contains the picture....
Repetition is the mother of all skills
