    New pedals

So I’m getting new rudder pedals but I’m conflicted. Should I go MFG Crosswinds or Slaw Device’s RX Vipers. I prefer the pedals like the Viper but I can’t seem to find a website for them just an email and it seems kind of sketchy. Does anyone in the group have them or heard about them? Any input would be helpful.

Never heard of the Vipers but The MFG pedals get glowing reviews from everyone. Got any info and pics of the Vipers?

Slaw's are pretty much the best prosumer pedals you can get. Yes, his transaction method is asking to be scammed but I know Dojo bought them and he didn't have any issues except for the long waiting list you'll be put on.

Basically if you want to burn quite some money on pedals go for MFG, if you want to burn a lot but get the best stuff in return, go for Slaw. I went for the MFGs because they then set me back about EUR 280. The Slaws with shipping and whatnot would set me back EUR 600.

I'm pretty happy with the MFGs although you may notice very slight asymmetry but nothing that would affect the performance.

Hmm, sounds interesting. Some day I'll get a good set up pedals. Here's one guys review of both...

Thanks for the input, really helpful. I’m going to with the Slaws. I emailed him and he said about 3 months till I’d get them which would be perfect timing.

Don't stress about the payment method. It's definitely not a scam. And he only accepts payment when ready to ship. Like Tex said, I too have only heard good things about the MFGs, but I'm extremely happy with the Slaws. I did buy the damper off of ebay for $40, which took 5 minutes to install and drastically improves them. The pedals should be good for at least 10 years, and probably longer, so the cost really isn't an issue in my opinion.

    There was no tax required.

How much does he charge for the pedals and for shipping? I'm assuming you'll have to pay sales tax as well in the US since you import something?

Thanks Dojo I’ll have to buy the damper. Oliver they $550USD plus $110USD for shipping. Hopefully they’ll get home about the same time I do.
