    Need Tanker Comms Clarification

When a flight of two or more intends to refuel, are all members of the flight required to make an "Intent To Join" call from 20 miles out, or does one call from Lead set the proper sim mechanics in motion with only "Ready Pre-Contact" from each subsequent customer?

Everyone needs to call the tanker via the comms menu. Only the flight leads need to call on SRS.

When you make the intent to rejoin I tend to wait until the first guy is done getting gas. It’s much easier if you do. But that’s me.

With probe & drogue AAR, 2 aircraft can refuel simultaneously. Refueller deploys left hose first so provided first aircaft takes the left one there is no issue with the 2nd aircraft refuelling on the right hose.

Which things like this will be clarified with the development of the 18 documentation.

Emmy being in A-10C MQT his question should have been specific to the A-10C but we’re all gonna have to be more clear with posts going forward.
