I can't wait to see this build, glad to see the seat get some use. I forgot to mention yesterday that I do have some other trinkets for it. They are stashed away in the closet, that is currently blocked by the obutto. If I break into the closet, I can mail you those as well. It's small stuff like the O2 bottle, dtc box (I think that is what it was/is called), and probably other random things that I forgotten about.

No worries. I’m not worried about that kind of stuff. It just needs to provide a place for my buttocks!

Blythee you are correct. I play exclusively in VR. I cannot do TrackIR as it gives me some nasty headaches. VR has its limitations for sure but they’re not aweful once you get used to it. I can’t fly any other way.

And this update is a big shout out to Tex..... eat your heart out lol!

Very nice Amy, I do have a tip that may or may not be helpful.

For my hotas, I used a 4inch toilet flange, 4inch pvc pipe and a cap to build the base for my joystick.
I removed the square base and bought longer screws to screw the round base onto the cap.
It is very inexpensive, very sturdy, you can position the joystick closer to the seat which was helpful for me and has a lot more leg room.

I tried that but I could never get it to work with the PVC pipe. I could find screws that worked for it. But thanks for the tip. I’m not too worried about the position of the stick it works well for me and I have plenty of leg room. I’m not that tall lol.
