    Stroll down memory lane

So my dad never throws anything away, and he recently gave me a bunch of my old 3 1/2 inch floppy disks.
I found a treasure trove of ancient flight simulators.

    A-10 Tank Killer
    Aces of the Pacific
    Aces over Europe
    Birds of Prey
    Chuck Yeagers Air Combat
    Comanche
    F-15 Stike Eagle
    LHX
    Nighthawk F-117A
    Red Baron

So I tossed in A-10 Tank Killer, loaded it up in dosbox and to my great pleasure it worked just fine.

Anyone else remember these old gems?

Whaoooo, this list shows deep passion for flight sim from a long way off.
I remember playing Commache with great satisfaction.

Amazing collections that fires up old memories.

I remember a lot of those, and think of them when somebody complains about some minor issue with graphics in DCS
I played A-10 Tank Killer a bit, found it back in the day in a discount bin at a local computer store. But by the time I found it, there were games like Air Warrior with much better graphics, etc. and I was big into the old war birds at the time. I guess it was my first foray into the A-10 and jets though. I still have my Jane's WW2 series tucked away somewhere.
I only recently cleared out a bunch of old games, and am still hanging on to a few for nostalgia, like Jane's and my Warbirds Disc. It's nice to revisit old memories now and then, and get a fresh perspective on how far the genre has come. I don't think I will ever do the work to get them running on win10, just not enough hours in the day.
The rumors of my demise are premature. Ok, I've died twice but I keep coming back, I'm worse than a stray cat!
