Good morning all, and Happy New Year,
Thank you Roman for your training post in DCS, it lead me here.
I'm just getting into DCS and intend on building a rig dedicated to the Sim.
(I do not have a PC capable as of yet)
I have purchased the list below from DCS while the sale is running.
Any additional purchases you can recommend would be appreciated while I can get the discounts.
My initial thoughts are to focus on the A10C first and then the F/A 18C. I'm leaning toward VR as I've read a lot about it and it's realism.
While I obtain all the equipment needed my plan (advise with any thoughts please) is to study daily YouTube videos and manuals consistently. So in other words, I'm a fresh slate seeking the potters hands.
I've read a bit on the 476th Fighter Group.
I seek intense realism and pelage my commitment to the endeavor. (Not meaning to be presumptuous)
I'm not assuming I'll be accepted as member of the Wing, but that's the goal.
Purchases Currently:
A10C II Tank Killer
F/A 18C Hornet
Super Carrier
Persian Gulf Map
Nevada Test & Trainings Range Map
A10C Iron Flag Part 1 Campaign
F/A 18 Rise of the Persian Loin Campaign
Expected Build:
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
I seek a fairly high end rig. I've never built a PC but can learn anything.
