Hi 476th team
Hello everyone. I'm really impressed with the level of seriousness and professionalism that emanates from your group.
I'm an Army Aviator with 10 years of experience in the AH-64D and the UH-60A/L. I'll be working really hard to get my skills up to a high standard before I formally apply to the group. Knowing myself, It will be a while until I consider myself proficient. I wanted to say hi since I will be lurking the boards until the Venn diagram overlaps with my readiness and the recruiting window.
If you see my callsign in a server please say hi, it's probably me, not a lot of MEDEVAC folks in DCS I guess.
Best to you all, keep up your airspeed!

Hello everyone!
A lot has happened since I posted this a few years ago. I wasn't able to join the 476th then because the Army kept me busy, but I have stayed in touch with my buddy Nomad and heard of all the great things you have all been up to. I was recently diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer so I'm now completely retired. Ever since the diagnosis, I dedicate my time fully to my family, with DCS as my only vice.
I'm really excited to work through the rotary curriculum leading up to the Longbow launch. I had the privilege to serve as an AH-64D driver in Iraq in 09-10 and I'm looking forward to reliving the glory days through DCS.
I have a small favor to ask, although I loved the Dustoff mission with every fiber of my being, I'd like to change my callsign to Peregrine. It's the name of the Patron Saint of Cancer patients and also a bird of prey, which works for me as a callsign on multiple levels.
Look forward to meeting everyone soon through Discord and here.
