    A-10C Startup

I found this optimised startup guide for the A-10C on the ED forums which I plan to use in my conversion from newbie Third Wire Intruder pilot to DCS Tank-Busting Warthog driver

It looks fairly comprehensive to my untrained eye, but perhaps if a more experienced pilot could look it over and check nothing is missing, even 476th SOPs.

Bah..won't let me upload a file this size... I'll post the link....

Tons and tons! He's not kidding!
The rumors of my demise are premature. Ok, I've died twice but I keep coming back, I'm worse than a stray cat!

BTW That was not a complaint. I spent my time in the waiting room reading A10C docs while they did their thing with the wife. (Not all places let the husband go in the room with their spouse). By the time this is all over with, I expect I will have a lot of studying done. This weekend will be partly spent downloading the rest of the docs onto a flash card that I can use on my tablet PC.

In the startup training mission (and the 476th guide), it mentions monitoring engine pressure as part of the startup procedure. It should settle at around 3850 if I remember correctly. Now, if I'm checking the correct dials (ones marked with PSI in the centre), my engine pressure is settling at about 60PSI (6000?). It doesnt seem to have any adverse effects and I can switch off the APU and continue the startup procedure.

Just wondering is this normal or (more likely) I'm doing something wrong. (For now I'm following the DCS/ED startup procedure until I become more familiar with the systems).
