and the basic Saitek pedals http://www.simw.com/pro-flight-rudder-pedals.html

Tho which saitek do you got NU ? Because i got the basic but maybe the combat rudders are better http://www.simw.com/pro-flight-comba...er-pedals.html or even teh cessna pro pedal http://www.simw.com/hardware/pro-fli...er-pedals.html .

The CH ones feel great... they're really soft and smooth... but if you have a large foot like I do... it's a no go.
I have the Saitek Pro Flight Rudder Pedals and I'd probably be more happy with the combat rudder pedals but there is a price difference of 60€ + the internals are identical. Only the pedals are different.
I've done a little mod on my Saitek Pro Flight Rudder Pedals and I think anyone should do it especially if flying helicopters (removing the central dent so that the movement from idle position to left or right goes smoother).

    It's a really easy mod: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.ph...+rudder+pedals

Internals on the Saitek and Saitek Pro pedals are the same, so should perform the same. I went with the pro as I caught them on special at the time, and wanted the metal construction in the hope they would last longer. Having used them, I don't really see the need to spend a lot extra to have them, but if you can find them discounted somewhere, I've been pretty satisfied with mine overall.
I used to have the CH USB Pro pedals, but never could get used to the very narrow footprint.
The rumors of my demise are premature. Ok, I've died twice but I keep coming back, I'm worse than a stray cat!
