Hi folks. I saw a recruitment thread on the ED forums and, after having read what I can of the forums here, your squadron seems to be just what I'm looking for.

I have limited experience in A-10C. I have played some of the training missions...but I'm really after interactive training (ie with another person), with the goal of becoming an integral part of the squadron that can, in time, teach others also. I know the very basics of A-10C and most of the terminology. In the past I have played Falcon4 AF and Thirdwire Strike Fighters 2, neither of which are as in-depth as DCS!

I'm from Ireland so play GMT hours in the evening, although wife and kids make me a casual player. I have recently invested in a Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS and a TrackIr; so am all set to go

If the squadron offers training, then I am very willing to learn. I have TS3 and Vent but can install needed comms as required. You should know that my knowledge of DCS is basic - I still use the startup cheat, and although I can take off and navigate...that's about it :/

Atm recruitment is on hold but will open very soon (correct me if Command changed this ) but nice too see a new face. Install TARS http://www.excessiveheadspace.com/ta...hor/headspace/ and make sure you use TS3 version 3.0.5 and not 3.0.7
Currently we onyl fly version 1.1.1.1 and not DCS World. We await TARS to be updated to World. If recruitment is open it will be shown on this page https://www.476vfightergroup.com/con...cation-process where you can fill in the application when avaible. Currently browse through our forum read some of the public documents and see how the atmoshere of the whole squad is.

Jackdaw, welcome to the 476th group.

While waiting for acceptance to the Kittens family we could set-up and test required software (TeamSpeak and T.A.R.S.) on your computer using my private Dedicated Servers (A-10 and TS), which are identical to the 476 servers (except the passwords ). In this way you’ll be ready to go once recruitment is open. This is the help I can offer from my side.
