Although, it doesn't need to be a USB port connected to your PC, it's only there for power so any old powered USB hub or charger will do the job.

Personally, I couldn't fly without the Warthog, Pedals or TIR (I could just about live without the MFDs). I have no idea what I'd do without them.

YES ! Go for the ProCLip, whatever you do! Even if they do not fit your headset, you can use velcro, glue or tape to attach them.
Tracking is MUCH better with them, than without.

    TIR for sure.

    Without it.......I'm grounded without it.

Nice! Once you've gotten accustomed to it, you'll start to wonder how you ever did without it before. In fact, you'll find yourself trying to use it in other situations, such as any FPS or arcade-style flying games, or even in some cases, real life. I can't count all the times I've been watching a movie or a video of someone flying in a game and found myself unconsciously turning my head in an effort to look around. It really is a truly necessary piece of kit, more so than pedals or even HOTAS (yep, I said it!). And yes, the TrackClip-Pro is worth the extra money for the increase in precision and reliability.

The problem I have had with the pro clip is it is way too delicate. I treat my gear well, and it still ended up taped together. The plastic they use is brittle, and becomes more so over time. I would stand in line to buy a pro clip made of aluminum alloy or a more resilient grade of plastic. Building a metal pro clip is on the "to do" list when I get my shop finished!
The rumors of my demise are premature. Ok, I've died twice but I keep coming back, I'm worse than a stray cat!

You won't be disappointed by the TIR. I was using Freetrack for a very long time. It's a great free solution to TIR. The track clip pro even worked with it. But once I had a little cash, I went ahead and got TIR. Talk about HEAVEN!!! I also got G940 which came with rudder pedals, so it was an easy decision. Now I'm just waiting for my MFD's that SNOOPY was suppose to send me

Finally got my TIR and all I can say is "why did I not get this sooner!" I love it.
