TWOT
I see more pictures recently (again) of A-10s carrying 500 pounders on the outer most pylon. I know our OI, which forbids that, is based on real world input. I wonder what the considerations are, then and now.

Very interesting loadout, GBU-12s mounted on TERs, GBU-54 LJDAMs, Hydra Rockets (APKWS I believe), AGM-65D, AGM-65E

Just a techicality, but the laser Mav is likely an AGM-65L vice an E, assuming the picture is recent. OIR has seen some interesting A-10 SCLs.

L is the Air Force version if I remember correctly? and E is used by the Navy and USMC, either way, judging by its seeker, it has to be a LMAV. Thanks Noodle.
According to the article, this is the first time an A-10C uses a GBU-31V(3) in combat. GBU-31V(3) unlike the V(1) is based on BLU-109, which is a penetrator warhead, it also uses a different guidance (KMU-557/B). Standard GBU-31 is based on Mk-84.
I honestly love it.
