Welcome to the home of the Four-Seven-Six virtual Fighter Group
We are an international organization, our goal is to continuously learn and refine our skills while enjoying these simulators in a multiplayer environment incorporating realistic tactics and procedures.
Here at the 476th vFighter Group (476 vFG) we are not about quantity but the quality of our pilots! All our training is based on real world training documents and we will make every effort to train and mentor those that join the group.
Currently we operate the A-10C Warthog v2, F-16C Viper and F/A-18C Hornet, with plans to incorporate future released aircraft by Eagle Dynamics or third parties.
We have a dedicated Training Squadron (vTS), three combat coded Fighter Squadrons (vFS), an Aggressor Squadron (vAGRS), and a Test and Evaluation Squadron (vTES) within the 476th:
- 74th vTraining Squadron 'Flying Tigers'
The 74 vTS is delivering training for all supported fixed wing and rotary wing aircraft.
- 76th vFighter Squadron 'Vanguards'
Since its formation, the 76 vFS has operated the A-10C in the Air Interdiction, Close Air Support, and Forward Air Controller (Airborne) roles.
- vVFA-97 'Warhawks'
The F/A-18C Hornet pilots of the Warhawks continue to press forward with determination and diligence, and when required, will conduct decisive combat operations to defeat any enemy.
- 421st vFighter Squadron 'Black Widows'
The 421st vFighter Squadron was the fourth operational squadron within the 476 vFG. By including the F-16C we have added another formidable multi-role aircraft.
- 65th vAggressor Squadron
When pilots achieve a Basic Mission Capable (BMC) Ready Aircrew Program (RAP) rating on their primary airframe and have completed the Air-to-Air phase of their training course, they may become a member of the vAggressor Squadron in addition to their combat coded squadron membership. The 65 vAGRS operates the F-5E, F-16C, and F/A-18C.
- 422d vTest and Evaluation Squadron 'Green Bats'
Pilots with a BMC or higher rating can participate in the vTest and Evaluation Squadron. This is where we evaluate new modules that have systems and flight modeling on par with what we feel a DCS aircraft should be.
