After enough practice with various manoeuvres and patterns you'll find that you can judge bank angles etc pretty well by eye, so keep at it and you'll have no issues.

I'm already getting better. This group had been a tremendous help. I now get how to fly ILS departures and DME approaches due to Recon's YouTube channel. Now it's just practice. Once I get this stuff down I'll be practicing unguided munitions. With the help of Recon's videos lol!

Quick question. I want to create a mission to practice ILS departures and approaches. What do I use for weather settings? I want to have one that's calm as far as wind and one that's got a good amount of wind to practice on. Thanks in advance.

I'd just put in a low cloud base, fairly thick. A little bit of fog can grey things up a bit too. Don't need to go too mad, say 500-700 feet AGL. Anything beyond that when learning and the panic sets in :P

Best way to learn instrument procedures is to turn off the HUD and use the instruments. Once you're comfortable using them, then add weather. Then add a cross wind. Then do all that at night. It sounds a bit overwhelming at first but really isn't bad at all once you are used to it.
