Pardon me for asking but how it the aircraft then cleared again? Is is "simply" a check of the structure where the wings attached to the fuselage or is it out for months before becomming air worthy again.
It's probably not moddeled in DCS but how can I ensure that the A/C is not overstresset in a loaded roll? Is it just rolling and then no more than e.g. 2G's?

Over G's have different inspection requirements depending on the level. For an OVG1 it is basically just a slightly more in-depth Combined Basic Post Flight/Preflight Inspection (BRP/PR). Theoretically if you find damage during the inspection depending on the severity it could be down for weeks or months for repairs.Originally Posted by Hansolo
Not really anything you can do, an over-g isn't just stress on the airframe, as soon as you load external munitions the g's that are allowed are reduced and that's not something that can be found publically.
